Hallowell's River Front Celebration June 28, 2008

      Hallowell recently complete the rebuilding of the Eastern Steamship Wharf, the former center of transportation for the City and region. The area featured immediate access to rail and highways. This is a great addition to our already downtown. In honor of the work the Hallowell Area Board of Trade is sponsoring "Hallowell Celebrates its New Riverfront."  Here are the details at present:

1 – 3PM   Open Mic Music & Entertainment.
3 – 4PM   Benefit Auction for the Friends of Vaughan Field
12 - Dusk - An Outdoor Art Fair of Kennebec Valley Artists

12 – 3PM    Creating a Giant Sturgeon
12 – 4PM Free Kayak & Canoe Tryouts
12 - 4  Green Scene ~ Appreciating Our Environment.
